Play With Fire! Our "forest farm bakery" allows you to do just that in our artisan classes and wood fired workshops. The open air timber pavilion is home to a small wood fired oven where we gather to share great food and real, hand crafted breads.
My passion focuses on naturally leavened dough using wild yeast starter along with a slow cold fermentation process. These mini science experiments are what got me hooked and to this day, keep me striving for perfection that will never be reached. Adding fresh milled flours and hearth baking elevates the fun and creates rich unique flavors that are unforgettable.
Workshops at Forest Fired Hearth are small groups, which allow for plenty of hands on learning and time to relax while you work on your skill. I look forward to joining you by the fire.
